Located in southwest Atlanta, the Nabisco Bakery was originally built in the early 1900's. Since its initial construction, the facility has undergone numerous expansions and modifications to accommodate new product lines and technologies. Williams-Russell and Johnson was initially engaged to provide fast-tracked structural design and construction administration services to modify an existing production area for new equipment. Unique to this particular type of facility modification is the strict necessity to maintain a "dust free" environment. Special consideration was given to deliver a phased construction plan to take full advantage of the shut down period allotted for project completion.
